Description

A chewy, customizable candy inspired by the viral Labubu character, filled with nostalgic flavors and fizzy surprises.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ¼ cup fruit juice (lychee, yuzu, or mango)
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Food coloring (natural or gel-based)
  • Optional: jelly filling or pop rocks for the center

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and juice in a saucepan. Heat on medium until the mixture reaches 240°F (soft-ball stage).

  2. While heating, bloom the gelatin by mixing it with water in a small bowl.

  3. Remove the syrup mixture from heat. Stir in the bloomed gelatin and food coloring.

  4. Pour the mixture into silicone candy molds.

  5. Optional: Add a small amount of jelly or pop rocks into the center before it sets.

  6. Let set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.

  7. Unmold and store in an airtight container.

Notes

For a collectible effect, use toy-inspired molds and color variations.

Swirl two colors for a cosmic effect like Galaxy Mirror Candy.

Candy keeps for 5–7 days in a cool, dry place.
